Storage prices rise, but on-chain assets fail to follow

U.S. storage stocks rose across the board overnight: SKHY gained 6.02%, SNDK 7.15%, WDC 5.29%, and MU 4.28%. The gains were driven by a concentrated wave of orders for AI servers and higher flash memory contract prices.

This is a spot-market rally for hardware manufacturers, driven by bulk orders for AI servers and higher flash memory contract prices. On-chain storage depends on storage orders and staked computing power, and the capital doesn’t flow between the two markets. So a short-term rally riding on the hardware sector’s momentum is unlikely. FIL is still grinding sideways in a range, with no fresh capital flowing into storage-related assets. If it rebounds to the previous high-volume trading area, it’ll run into selling pressure. At this level, buying into the rally is more likely to leave you holding the bag than to catch a breakout.

For FIL here, are you setting a limit order and waiting for a pullback, or cutting your position outright?
