How I made my first +100% on my deposit: pure luck or a beginner’s intuition? 🚀
We’ve all had that first step into crypto that we remember forever. My journey on Binance began with a story I now look back on with a smile and a little shock 😄
When I had just signed up and opened the futures section for the first time, it all seemed like a foreign language to me: charts, orders, leverage... It was hard to figure everything out right away, so I decided to trust my feminine intuition.
My balance back then was exactly $11. I picked the first coin I came across, set the leverage to 20x almost at random, and opened a long position with my entire balance.
At the time, I had absolutely no idea about all the risks, but luck was clearly on my side that day! 😅 A little while later, I opened the app and saw numbers I could hardly believe at first: +100% on my deposit!
Of course, I now understand perfectly well that it was an utterly reckless and dangerous idea. The market soon brought me back down to earth: I lost my deposits more than once and learned the hard way what high leverage means and why going all-in is a huge mistake.
