Starting January 1, 2027, France may begin taxing gains from converting cryptocurrencies into stablecoins such as USDT and USDC, even if they are not converted into euros.
⚠️ The proposal is still under budget discussions and has not become law. If approved, it could change traders’ liquidity management and hedging strategies.
