#比特币矿企转AI Microsoft’s computing power deal fell through

Nscale is a British company that started out mining Bitcoin before pivoting to AI data centers. It also received investment from Nvidia, and its valuation once surged to $14.6 billion. Microsoft had a major computing power deal lined up with the company, but the power grid couldn’t keep up: getting connected would have to wait until the 2030s, and the deal fell through.

Put simply, the bottleneck for miners making the move to AI has never been graphics cards—it’s electricity.

The market is showing a clear divergence. $TAO is quoted at 267.5 USDT, up 1.8% today, with decentralized AI seen as a beneficiary. $FET is quoted at 0.1872 USDT, up a slight 0.6%. $FIL is quoted at 1.016 USDT, down 1% in the opposite direction, while the storage sector is still going nowhere.

If centralized data centers can’t even get connected to the grid, do the tokens touting “decentralized computing power” really have a shot—or is this just another round of storytelling?
