In this update, I think the most noteworthy change isn’t the referral commission, but the addition of “engagement rewards.”
Previously, you mainly earned referral commissions when your posts drove trades. Now, as long as your content qualifies and generates genuine comments, likes, and follows, you may also receive a share of the weekly reward pool.
A few things to keep in mind:
• The 20% referral commission for image-and-text trades remains unchanged, while the previous extra ranking commission has been discontinued.
• There’s no fixed rate for engagement rewards. The platform distributes them based on engagement quality and weighting.
• Rewards are settled weekly in USDC, and publishing a post doesn’t guarantee earnings.
I think this update offers a new opportunity for creators who take content seriously and build a readership. But how much you actually receive remains to be seen after settlement.
