Strategy disclosed another Bitcoin purchase alongside a much larger preferred-share repurchase. In its October 19 filing, the company said it acquired 267 $BTC for about $22.1 million between October 12 and 16, at an average purchase price of $82,900 per coin. The transaction raised Strategy's reported holdings to 848,517 $BTC , with an aggregate acquisition cost of approximately $64.02 billion. During the same period, the company repurchased 1.94 million shares of its STRC preferred stock for $193.1 million. It also increased authorization for its digital-credit securities buyback program from $2 billion to $3 billion, with $1.16 billion remaining available as of Sunday. The filing separates two uses of capital: buying additional Bitcoin and repurchasing preferred shares. Neither action, by itself, establishes a wider market trend.
