【81U Paper Trading Challenge | Day 5】
⚠️ This series uses a simulated account (virtual funds, not a real account) and is for practicing discipline only—not a record of live trading performance.
Today’s move: ETH short hit take-profit; stayed flat and watched
・Closed: $ETH short @2,415.89 → take-profit at 2,358 (around 03:00)
・Stop-loss not triggered (2,446); position size: 0.049 ETH; leverage: about 1.46x
・Net profit at settlement: about +2.72U (including fees and one funding payment)
・Currently flat; no new position for now
Reason: After closing the position, BTC/ETH/SOL were mostly around the middle of their 24-hour ranges, and the EMA structure was mixed. There was no clear breakout or confirmed pullback, so I’d rather stay flat than force a trade.
Equity: 83.72U / starting balance 81U (about +3.4%)
Risk management lesson: Once take-profit is hit, settle and exit. Don’t cancel your preset TP just because you think “there’s room to keep shorting.” If there’s no next setup, stay flat.
Would you have taken this trade? When ETH was shorted, were you 🟢 or 🔴?
