$DOGE and $SHIB have one thing in common that many people have never really thought about.

Neither of them was some miracle “designed” by anyone. DOGE was born as a joke. Its founder announced his departure back in 2015, and some people said it was going to zero. Yet its price doubled over the following two months. It wasn’t technology that kept it going, but tipping culture, charitable donations, and a grassroots community supporting it day after day. Musk first mentioned DOGE in 2019, by which time it had already been around for six years and had become part of everyday life for a group of people. He didn’t create it—he was drawn to it.

SHIB takes things even further. When its anonymous founder, Ryoshi, launched it in August 2020, there was no presale, no team allocation, and no VC funding. Half of the liquidity was locked in Uniswap, and the other half was sent directly to Vitalik. The reasoning was simple: if the founder didn’t hold any tokens, no one could dump them. Later, in May 2022, Ryoshi left and deleted all his social media accounts. The ShibArmy community took over, built ShibaSwap and Shibarium, and carried it all the way to where it is today.

DOGE and SHIB taught this industry one thing: the underlying fuel of a meme has never been one person’s words, but a group of people deciding, “We won’t let it die.” That’s what we are!!!!🐶🐶🐶#比特币突破8.3万美元
