Lending is a common use case in DeFi (decentralized finance).
You deposit your coins into a lending market, borrowers pay interest, and you earn a return.
In the Sui ecosystem, there’s more than one lending market, and interest rates keep changing.
Haedal is a liquid staking protocol on Sui. On September 22, it launched a Lending Vault.
Here’s how it works: you deposit one asset, and the vault automatically allocates the funds across multiple lending markets.
The September 22 launch announcement listed lending markets including NAVI, Current, Suilend, and Scallop.
According to the official announcement on October 4, the vault rebalances when interest rates change.
That means you don’t have to move your funds yourself.
Each vault has a curator who manages its strategy and allocation.
Haedal is currently the curator, and the official team says more curators will join later.
For beginners, comparing interest rates used to mean opening lots of tabs and making lots of transactions.
Now the vault takes care of these repetitive tasks.
Yield fluctuates with the market.
