🚨 Breaking | $BTC returns above $82,000 as risk sentiment improves
In early Asian trading, Bitcoin rose as much as 2.3%, climbing back above $82,000 and trading at around $82,273. Ether was around $2,418, BNB around $725, and Solana around $104. Total crypto market capitalization recovered to about $2.8 trillion.
📈 The rebound was driven mainly by macro factors:
▪️ Oil prices retreated from a five-month high, with Brent down about 2%, easing inflationary pressure;
▪️ China’s third-quarter GDP grew 4.5%, beating expectations and lifting risk appetite across Asia;
▪️ U.S. tech stock futures also rose.
⚠️ But there is still a clear divide:
▪️ U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs saw net outflows of about $229 million last week, marking a second consecutive week of outflows. Institutional demand has yet to return;
▪️ Trading volumes remain low, and neither bulls nor bears have much conviction;
▪️ Ether fell about 5% over the past week, underperforming Bitcoin, as funds continue to seek safety in large-cap assets.
🔜 This week’s highlights: Meta and Tesla earnings, plus the EIA oil report, on Wednesday; initial jobless claims on Thursday; and preliminary PMI readings and consumer confidence on Friday. The Fed is also entering its blackout period ahead of its October 27–28 policy meeting, meaning officials won’t comment when the data is released. Volatility could increase.
