【Are whales scooping up the tokens retail investors are holding? AVAX on-chain data tells a story you may have missed】
Let’s talk about AVAX.
There’s a data point from the past couple of days that I haven’t seen anyone really discuss: large holders’ balances are quietly climbing, while net exchange inflows are shrinking. Put those together, and it looks like someone is moving tokens from exchanges into cold wallets while you’re still sitting on the sidelines.
What does that mean?
I saw the exact same playbook in 2021. Prices moved sideways, exchange balances fell, and large holders started accumulating. Back then, I thought it was “the big players supporting the price.” Later I realized it wasn’t support—it was buying up tokens from shaken-out holders at low prices.
That’s where AVAX is now. FNG is at 59—not exactly euphoric. People are still hesitant, still waiting for a pullback. But on-chain data tells you that some people have already started making moves.
Some will ask: Why not just pump the price? Why accumulate slowly first?
Because no one person controls this market. Whales don’t want to pay too much either. Waiting for you to hand over your positions, shaking out the market, and then moving higher takes a lot less effort than forcing the price up.
The question now isn’t whether AVAX has potential—it’s whether you’re willing to get in while everyone else is still uncertain. I won’t say how much you could make, but at a point like this, if it really breaks out, watching from the sidelines while others count their gains feels worse than losing money.
What’s your mindset right now? Itching to make a move? Have you taken a position? Let’s talk in the comments.
