Hours of narrow-range trading were finally broken by a high-volume move lower.
$PYTH fell below the $0.07451 lower boundary of the consolidation range it had held for the previous four hours, and closed at $0.0742.
Spot trading volume rose to more than $100,000, over twice the previous average, while aggressive buying still accounted for nearly 48% of trades.
This breakdown does not mean buyers have completely given up. Trading between the two sides remains active at lower prices, and after the previous balance was disrupted, the price has moved into a new tug-of-war range.
