Crypto analyst Ignas said PAPER mining rewards have fallen nearly 90%, from 100 to approximately 11 PAPER per $1 of qualifying trading losses. According to NS3.AI, Ignas estimated that recovering a $1,000 trading loss through staking earnings would take approximately 200 to 385 days at recent yields, excluding token-emission dilution. Ignas said some traders may sell PAPER to recover losses once transfers become available, potentially adding selling pressure. Galaxy Research previously noted that PAPER’s market price affects mining activity, which determines the protocol’s long-term revenue.
