JPMorgan Chase is moving JPM Coin onto Ethereum.

This is interesting. JPM Coin was originally on their own private blockchain, and now it's moving to Ethereum—not the public Ethereum network, but the layer specifically designed to serve institutional clients.

As I've said before, traditional institutions entering crypto often take the approach of “I'll build my own chain and use my own coin.” Now they're doing the reverse: proactively moving an internal coin onto a public network. What does that tell us? It tells us they've realized that their own little chain alone doesn't offer enough liquidity or room for the ecosystem to grow.

This isn't a technical issue; it's a shift in mindset. JPMorgan Chase has gone from “having my own chain is enough” to “I need to connect to a bigger pool.”

When JPM Coin goes live on mainnet and isn't limited to serving institutional clients, that will be the real signal.
