I’ve been exploring Kite, and what stands out to me is its focus on AI agents making payments autonomously.
Kite is an EVM-compatible Layer 1 built for real-time transactions and coordination between AI agents. Its three-layer identity system separates users, agents, and sessions, giving agents more controlled and verifiable permissions.
KITE, the native token, starts with ecosystem participation and incentives, with staking, governance, and fee-related utility planned later.
In my opinion, the interesting question is whether AI agents will actually need this kind of payment infrastructure at scale. The technology is promising, but adoption will be the real test.
