By the time the price came back, my position was already gone. Right after I got liquidated last night, I was still really angry. But later, I thought about it and realized it was also down to my own greed and poor trading. Looking at my recent track record, it’s honestly hard to stomach. Some of those positions were profitable at first, but I held on for too long and ended up losing those gains. In this kind of shitty market, you just can’t hold on forever. Then, when you sell too early and the price takes off, you regret not holding on.

I haven’t been checking the community feed much lately either. Like I said a few days ago, it seems like everyone’s too busy arguing to talk about anything worthwhile. The market has been moving, sure, but maybe there’s been too much volatility—this prolonged chop is actually leaving more people in the red. I’m one of them.

For some reason, the funds I deposited still haven’t arrived, even though it’s Monday. Today I made myself stop trading and take a proper break—just enjoy the outdoors. If you never enjoy life, and are always rushing to get back into the market, you’ll only end up losing more.

A few days ago, I’d already made back 12,500 U and could’ve called it a day. But I couldn’t keep my hands off the keyboard. I thought I’d just have a little punt, then slowly got carried away. The more I couldn’t accept the loss, the more I lost. It’s driving me nuts. Money’s just a bastard—spend it, then earn it again. Stay calm, stay calm. Let’s see when I’ll break even next time. Right now, I’m short about 10,000 U.

Gains and losses are part of the game. I’ll just treat this as tuition. In crypto, whether you like it or not, it’s easy to get carried away when you’re making money. When you’re earning well and turning a profit, you need to respect money. You won’t make money forever. (I’m saying this to myself.) I hope I don’t lose any more. Of the money I used to trade futures before the New Year, I’ll put at most 20,000 U toward my recovery plan. I won’t put in any more. I hope I don’t lose any more. $ETH $BTC

I didn’t enter a trade today.
Does that mean the consolidation is over and the market’s about to pump?
