【ETH is stuck at 2,400. It’s not the worst moment, but it’s definitely not a comfortable range】
A week ago it was at 2,600; now it’s at 2,400—a drop of nearly 5% in seven days.
A month ago? Sorry, that was another world.
From the peak, this thing has fallen by more than half.
I’m watching one number: a 50.8% drawdown.
That number is interesting.
Historically, whenever the price has fallen into this range, some money starts coming in. It’s not bottom-fishing, more like, “This level is worth a look.”
But then what happens after it comes in?
Looking at the news from the past couple of days, Deutsche Bank plans to launch crypto custody services in Asia in 2027, starting with BTC and ETH, along with a few stablecoins.
Honestly, I didn’t pay much attention to this news at first—2027 is a long way off, and who knows what things will look like by then.
But I gave some serious thought to the logic behind it:
Traditional banks are starting to manage private keys.
Once they take that step, they won’t be managing just BTC and ETH.
That’s the key point.
ETH’s problem right now isn’t the news. It’s that nobody’s willing to actively push the price higher at this level.
If it goes up, there’s a whole year’s worth of bagholders above—who’s going to bail them out?
If it goes down? That’s not easy either; plenty of people are watching the support around 2,300.
So it’s stuck, waiting for a reason to break the deadlock.
I’m not holding any ETH, but I’ve been keeping an eye on it.
Why? I want to see if it can really hold this level, then wait for the next catalyst.
What are you watching right now? At what price do you think it’s worth making a move?
