CRWV was included on a list of issuers objecting to a plan to put U.S. stocks onchain, but that doesn’t mean it rejects all tokenized stocks.

According to public reports, the plan initially proposed including 63 U.S. stocks, and nine issuers have submitted written objections, including CRWV. The reports also say that the current pilot rules give issuers a 30-day objection period; an objection applies only to the individual trading venue that received the notice, and is not a permanent veto across all venues.

The two reports provide similar details, but may stem from the same original report, so they should not be treated as two independent confirmations. We have not seen CRWV’s original objection, and therefore cannot determine whether it objects to the product’s design or to tokenization itself. The next things to watch are whether the written document can be verified and whether CRWV objects again when other venues issue notices.

If the next venue also receives an objection, will the market still view this as an isolated product choice?
