$ETH The direction of Ethereum (ETH) over the next two weeks will determine the market’s trajectory in the fourth quarter: At the end of June, ETH tested the $1,505 level for the second time but did not fall below it. My assessment was that ETH entered a weekly uptrend from $1,505, then gained more than 85%. What do I think now? To put it plainly: $1,505–$2,807 was ETH’s first weekly uptrend, and the move since $2,807 has been a correction of that trend, not a new downtrend. Breaking above and holding steady over $2,500 confirmed that ETH had temporarily found a bottom, while the $2,807–$2,318 range represents all or part of a weekly correction. If $2,807–$2,318 is the full weekly correction range, then a new weekly uptrend began at $2,318. The current upward momentum is not strong enough to support that outlook, so for now, I’m treating the blue section as part of the correction. Since the decline in the blue section is part of the correction, the rise from $2,318 is a rebound from it. This rebound will end as early as this week and as late as the end of next week, after which Ethereum will continue to consolidate. The longer and stronger the rebound, the more likely it is that the market will move sideways rather than fall sharply once the rebound ends. Once the full weekly correction is complete, a new weekly uptrend will begin, with even greater explosive potential than the $1,505–$2,807 move.
