Anthropic borrowed $60 billion for a chip deal, with the subordinated debt carrying a 10% interest rate—compared with just over 8% for similar financing four months ago. Broadcom guaranteed $42 billion of senior debt, and Bank of America, Citi and Morgan Stanley have begun syndicating it.
