🚨 The Zakura team at Zcash published a technical article on October 19 proposing that independent viewing keys be assigned to each ZEC swap made through NEAR Intents, to guard against future quantum computing threats. This solution prevents quantum computers from using Shor’s algorithm to recover keys and link accounts’ transaction histories. The team said that Vizor and other wallets using its open-source library could support this feature in the coming weeks, ahead of Zcash’s January deadline for offering payments resistant to quantum attacks.
