The migration plan is set: $CPOOL will be converted 1:1 into $CLEAR, with 97.16% approval on Snapshot. Clearpool has released its 2026 v4.0 white paper, outlining plans to expand to the XRP Ledger with Ripple and Cicada Partners, using regulated stablecoins for settlement. $CLEAR has a total supply of 1.429 billion tokens, with 1.125 billion in circulation at the time of migration, or 78.75%. Since 2021, the protocol has cumulatively lent approximately $965 million to borrowers including Jane Street, Flow Traders, and Wintermute, and currently operates across six EVM chains. The plan is to use 50% of protocol fees to buy back $CLEAR on the open market and permanently burn it. The XRPL product is still being prepared for Devnet testing. $XRP is currently priced at 1.311 USDT, up 0.79% in 24 hours. The vote has passed, but testing and buybacks have yet to happen.
