Of Nillion’s ecosystem developments lately, what I like most about Covenants is the design where “instructions remain completely sealed until the conditions are met.” That means you don’t have to reveal your trading strategy in advance—stop-loss orders and auction bids can stay hidden, so they can’t be front-run.
After Dusk goes live on mainnet, I’m especially looking forward to two things:
First, permissionless nodes actually getting up and running, with NIL staked to participate in decryption and settlement—that’s a tangible reward;
Second, Covenants being deployed across multiple EVM chains in the later Darkfall phase. That’s when cross-chain conditional triggers will really come into their own. For now, I’m just waiting to see whether the mainnet performs reliably.
Because I believe in Nillion’s long-term value, I also completed a spot trade for $NIL on Binance today (trade-sharing card attached), as I’m very optimistic about the ecosystem’s development. I’ll continue to hold for the long term. Don’t worry about short-term price fluctuations.
