Steadiness is an important source of confidence for ordinary people going the distance.
Many people work hard, endure hardship, and study, yet never manage to break through or hold on to what they’ve achieved. It’s not because they lack vision, resources, or ability, but because they lack inner steadiness.
Those who are steady can grow strong even when they’re weak; those whose minds are unsettled can fail even when they’re strong.
Four signs of being “unsteady”:
Losing your head when things happen, with no sense of rhythm;
Chasing gains at every opportunity, with no solid foundation;
Falling apart at the first setback, with a fragile mindset;
Getting carried away by the slightest success, unable to hold your ground.
Steadiness doesn’t mean being slow, timid, or inactive. It means acting only after you’ve seen things clearly, and making a move only after you’ve thought it through. It means staying calm when others are in turmoil, keeping your composure when others panic, and staying grounded when others get carried away.
Before trading, work on your own mindset first. When your mind is steady, your path becomes steady; when your mind is settled, things fall into place.
