#灰度联合republic推出三只加密基金

【Grayscale bundles 11 coins into one package—is someone finally building a ladder for altcoin season?】

This time, Grayscale has packaged DeFi, decentralized AI, and on-chain data into three funds, with a minimum investment of just $2,500. The DeFi basket includes $UNI , AAVE, ONDO, ENA, CRV, and LDO; the AI basket bets on $NEAR , $TAO , RENDER, and FIL; and the last fund is a direct bet on DATA.

It’s worth paying attention to, but don’t rush to declare that institutions are buying up coins. $2,500 is the minimum subscription amount, not the amount raised. The products are aimed at accredited investors, so they’re not spot ETFs that ordinary retail investors can freely buy. The actual amount raised hasn’t been disclosed, so for now, this doesn’t yet amount to real money flowing in.

What I find more significant is that Grayscale is starting to package and sell altcoins by sector. In the past, you had to research each coin yourself; now, someone else is putting together a portfolio for you, which could increase demand for exposure. But a fund launch doesn’t mean the underlying tokens will immediately see net buying—especially when market liquidity is tight. No matter how compelling the narrative, it can’t withstand selling pressure. Next, keep an eye on the amount raised and changes in holdings, then see whether spot trading volumes for coins like UNI, AAVE, and NEAR can keep pace.

The ladder has been offered. Whether altcoin season can climb it still depends on whether there’s money to buy in.
