Ethereum is going all out on scaling on testnets, while mainnet is nowhere in sight—and the price is just lying there at 2,400. Who can you even complain to? 😅

The Glamsterdam upgrade is coming to the Hoodi testnet on October 26: block capacity will jump from 60 million straight to 200 million—more than triple. The key change is called ePBS, which hardwires the separation of block proposing and block building into the protocol. The Sepolia testnet already ran through it on October 6, and node providers need to hurry up and upgrade their clients this week. Developers: Triple the capacity. Deal. Exchanges: Looks good on the testnet. Price: I’m staying down.

The most surreal part is that there’s an upgrade every year, but the price still can’t get back up. Let’s place your bets in the comments: A) The good news will pay off eventually—ETH at 2,400 is a no-brainer bargain; B) No matter how great the tech is, it can’t move the market—upgrades have never meant higher prices. Sound off!
