When should you check the “Reduce Only” box on the order page?
Reduce Only adds an extra layer of protection to closing orders: no matter what quantity you enter, it will only reduce your current position to zero at most.
In one-way mode, conditional orders such as take-profit and stop-loss orders can also be set to Reduce Only. If your position has already been closed when the order is triggered, it won’t open a new position in the opposite direction.
You only learn after paying the price: read the manual first.
Once you’ve set a stop-loss, stick to it—don’t move it when the time comes.
