Hyperliquid’s HYPE token topped CryptoQuant’s ranking of analyst bullishness relative to each cryptocurrency’s recent history, despite falling 15% in a month. According to NS3.AI, HYPE traded at $76.55 on Sunday, about 22% below its September 23 record of $97.96.

Tokenomist reported that Hyperliquid’s team received 3.75 million HYPE in a scheduled October 6 payout. A co-founder said the tokens would be sold off-exchange to one institutional buyer; the buyer’s identity and purchase price were not disclosed.

The payout was nearly five times the $71 million Hyperliquid generated for buybacks over the past 30 days, according to DefiLlama data.
