【BTC wakes up after 13 years: sell-off or wallet move?】
Two old wallets that had been inactive since 2013 transferred a combined 416.69 BTC on October 18, worth about $33.82 million. Ahead of Monday’s market open, it was the most eye-catching on-chain transaction.

One wallet had been dormant for 12.9 years. Its single transfer was 248.85 BTC, worth just $88,000 when acquired.

Pick one: A) getting ready to sell, or B) simply moving the coins to another wallet for safekeeping.

I’m going with B. The coins have so far been sent to the same new address, and there’s no sign they’ve been moved to an exchange. The holder and purpose have not been confirmed.

The real pressure on prices is coming from elsewhere: spot BTC ETFs saw net outflows of about $910 million over two weeks. BTC is now at 81,582 (Binance, 06:02).

What would change my view: if these coins are later sent to an exchange deposit address, they should be treated as potential selling pressure.

Do you pick A or B?
