$BTTC The Superior Electoral Court (TSE) and the Regional Electoral Courts (TREs) have changed the polling locations of 4,352 electoral sections across the country for the second round of the 2026 elections. The changes affect approximately 0.87% of sections and were prompted by practical reasons, such as last-minute renovations, accessibility improvements, power supply issues, or damage caused by heavy rain and strong winds.
The states with the largest number of changes were São Paulo (982 sections), Minas Gerais (514), Rio de Janeiro (431), and Bahia (312).
How to check your polling location
The Electoral Court advises all voters to confirm their polling location before leaving home. You can check it in two main ways:
* e-Título app
* Download or open the app on your phone (available for Android and iOS).
* The updated address of your electoral section appears directly on the home screen.
* TSE website (Electoral Self-Service)
* Visit the TSE website.
* Go to Electoral Self-Service > Voter Registration Card > Where to Vote.
* Enter your CPF or voter registration number, full name, and date of birth.
How to change your polling location (Voter requests)
If you need to request a transfer of your electoral domicile or change your polling location yourself:
* Election deadline: For the current election, changes and transfers are available through the TSE’s Electoral Self-Service portal until 151 days before the election (the voter registration database closes in May).
* Requirements for changing municipalities: You must have lived in the new location for at least 3 months and must not have made another transfer in the past 12 months (with exceptions for public servants transferred by order and their family members).
* Within the same municipality: You can also change your electoral section/location through the Self-Service portal on the TSE website by selecting “Update or correct your voter registration card” > “Change your polling location within the same municipality.”
