The easiest thing to misread about $QTC is treating -6.66% as an ordinary pullback because the 30-day return is still +202%. But that +202% is old news from late September through October 9. The ATH of $186.19 came on October 9; the current price is $102.67, down -44.85% from the peak and -23.48% over 7 days. The turning point wasn’t today’s red candle—it was volume stepping down from the huge $45.54M spike to $3.61M. The price is still in the triple digits, but liquidity has already left.

With a market cap of $29.84M and daily volume of $3.61M, turnover is 12%. This isn’t a zombie market, but there’s no sign of anyone rushing to accumulate here, either. I’m more inclined to see this as tokens changing hands from late buyers to people with a lower cost basis, rather than fresh money coming in. The $100 level is now both a psychological threshold and the last line of support below the October 19 low of $102.55.

Bulls and bears should really be watching the same number: 24-hour trading volume. Bulls need to see volume climb back above $8M and the price hold above $102 to make a case for a second leg up. Bears need to see volume keep shrinking toward $2M and $100 give way—in that case, most of the past 30 days’ gains will have been given back. Same bar, two directions, and it won’t take long to see which side is wrong.

One -6.66% daily candle doesn’t tell us much; the real problem is that volume hasn’t come back. Are you waiting for confirmation at $100, or confirmation from volume?
