MY TRADE TODAY ON $NEAR : Taking advantage of the drop with a Short
Heads up, soldiers! The market is showing clear weakness in the alts today, and $NEAR has just decisively broken through previous support levels, extending the downtrend after the macro rejection around $6.00.
When the market drops, we don't panic: we trade in the direction of the downtrend on the 1H and 4H timeframes, placing a Short to make money on the move down toward deeper support levels.
WHERE I SELL AND WHERE I BUY BACK:
WHERE I SELL / ENTER SHORT (My Sell Zone): $4.700 – $4.760 USDT
(We don't sell at the bottom in a panic. We wait for a pullback or retest of the moving-average zone on the 15M timeframe, then hit the SELL/SHORT button.)
WHERE I EXIT AT A LOSS (My Stop Loss): $4.950 USDT
(I set my Stop Loss above the 25-period moving average on the 1H timeframe and above the structural invalidation zone, using an automated order. If buyers push hard and break above that zone, I exit, accepting my maximum 1% risk, and move on.)
WHERE I TAKE PROFITS AND BUY BACK (My Take Profits):
Step 1 (TP1 - $4.520 USDT): As soon as the drop reaches this first support level, I close 50% of the Short, take my profit, and secure the position at Break-Even (zero risk).
Step 2 (TP2 - $4.400 USDT): I close another 30% when the price drops to fill the intermediate liquidity zone at macro support.
Step 3 (TP3 - $4.200 USDT): I close the final 20% at the deep demand block on the daily chart.
THE GOLDEN RULE I ALWAYS REMIND YOU OF:
Discipline is what matters in the trenches. Always calculate your position size so that you risk exactly 1% of your account between the entry and the Stop Loss, including the buffer. If the price reaches the deep discount zone at $4.200 - $4.300, we'll watch for a possible buy, but only if there's bullish absorption volume and a CHoCH on the 15M timeframe.
