Taiko says the L2 security incident will not result in user funds being lost.

About $1.75 million was drained from the bridge. The network was paused, then collateral was replenished 1:1 and the bridge reopened. Taiko says users are fully covered and don’t need to take any action.

After an incident, the first thing I do is check the official statement and bridge status—not immediately add to my position to buy the “security premium.” Saying everything is fine doesn’t mean you should go all in right away; wait for confirmation before acting, and trade less on security-incident days. If you have a position, don’t make any rash moves. If you don’t, wait and see. Don’t treat an official characterization as a signal to buy the dip.
