Who arranges the transactions in Ethereum blocks? Do validators do it themselves?
MEV-Boost is open-source middleware developed by Flashbots. Introduced around Ethereum’s “Merge,” it allows validators to receive fully built blocks from external builders.
Validators cannot see the specific transactions in a block before signing its header. This prevents them from copying builders’ MEV opportunities after seeing the contents.
One key thing to keep in mind when managing your positions: when swapping on a DEX, consider using a private transaction channel with MEV protection to reduce the chance of your trade being sandwiched.
