Bloomberg Businessweek features writer Austin Carr said on Bloomberg This Weekend that Andreessen Horowitz co-founder Marc Andreessen became an increasingly influential Republican donor and adviser after years of shifting political allegiances. Disputes over AI, crypto and other Biden-era policies played a role in his latest political shift.

Carr said Andreessen has turned his Silicon Valley influence into access in Washington. Associates describe his political style as more calculated than his combative online persona, Bloomberg reported.
