The BTC and BNB shorts from this afternoon’s strategy got filled and are in profit; the ETH and SOL entries were narrowly missed (the aggressive long positions have already been entered and are now near the entry price). This downswing isn’t over yet. You can keep holding your shorts with a trailing stop. If we get a rebound after bottoming out, watch to see whether price can close above today’s high. If it can, we could see an upward swing begin on the 1–2-hour timeframe. If the rebound can’t even reach today’s high, we may see another leg down.
The highs on the 4-hour charts for BTC and ETH keep getting lower, which shows that the rebounds are getting weaker. The weekend has kept the decline relatively modest over the past couple of days. Next, keep an eye on whether BTC can break decisively below 80k on the daily chart and start a new downswing. Otherwise, wait for a 4-hour candle to close above 82–83k before calling a reversal. At current prices, avoid holding longs too stubbornly. If you’ve already reduced your short position and set a trailing stop, you can keep holding some and see if price breaks below 80k!
