Let's talk about UTXO and account models.
Ethereum uses an account model: the blockchain directly records each account's balance, and a transfer deducts funds from one account and adds them to another.
One thing many people overlook: the account model is more like an ordinary bank account—balances are easy to see, and writing smart contracts is more convenient. The trade-off is that transactions from the same account must be processed in nonce order.
Repeatedly receiving funds at the same Bitcoin address can expose transaction flows, so many wallets default to generating a new address for each payment and for change.
$BTC uses the UTXO model. The balance shown in a wallet is actually the sum of many unspent outputs.
