⚡️ Just confirmed: Turkey’s justice minister personally announced it on X—the HEX founder really has been detained this time

Turkey’s Justice Minister Akın Gürlek confirmed it in a post on X on Saturday: HEX and PulseChain founder Richard Heart (whose real name is Richard James Schueler) was arrested on October 14 in Istanbul’s Beşiktaş district. His wife was taken in with him, and three bodyguards were detained shortly afterward.
Here’s what that X post says:
This isn’t “reportedly detained”—it’s an official confirmation that “he’s in our hands.”
The seizure list makes for quite a picture:
💵 $7.15 million in cash + 6 cold wallets
🏠 15 properties searched overnight (across three districts)
⌚ 28 watches, 97 pieces of jewelry, 300 bags, 160,000 lira
💻 29 phones, 12 laptops, 19 graphics cards
🔫 4 rifles, 3 unlicensed handguns, 1,400 rounds of ammunition
Nine cars registered to his wife were also seized (Anadolu Agency).
The backstory at a glance:
The Red Notice was requested by Finland in December 2024 (over tax and assault allegations). A judge dismissed the U.S. SEC case in February 2025 for lack of jurisdiction, and the SEC dropped its appeal in April.
The Turkish legal proceedings are ongoing; the minister didn’t say whether an extradition request has been made.
What about HEX?
At the time of writing, it was at $0.0005890, up 2.00% over 24 hours, with a market cap of $34.51 million (live data from CoinDesk).
$BTC $ETH $SOL It’s a quiet night, and there’s only one main character: HEX.
Here’s the question:
Can Turkish police access the coins in those 6 cold wallets?
Let’s discuss in the comments 👇
