What’s the difference between one-way and hedge mode?
In one-way mode, if you sell more than your existing long position, the excess will open a short position (unless “Reduce Only” is enabled).
Hedge mode is often used when you want to hold positions in both directions at the same time, such as holding a long-term long position while opening a short-term short position to hedge against a pullback.
Coin mentioned in the article: $BTC . Current price: 81961.9, 24h: +0.57%.
Before opening a position, check the liquidation price. If it’s too close to the current price, reduce your position size.
