From 5–10 TPS to around 100 TPS—it’s just one step away. Responding on X to whether Cardano is fully built, Hoskinson said it will be once the Leios upgrade is complete, adding that it already has everything they originally set out to build. Leios aims to significantly increase transaction processing speeds, with a long-term target of over 1,000 TPS, but it still needs testing, validation, and parameter tuning. Hoskinson also highlighted existing foundations, including decentralized consensus, on-chain governance, eUTXO, and Plutus.
