📉 Selling pressure on BTC is easing, but one key factor is still missing for a rally
Over the past 30 days, around 205,400 BTC held for 6–12 months changed hands, with only 4.4% flowing to exchanges.
Most of these coins were bought near or after the 2025 highs, and recent selling pressure has clearly declined:
▪️ June: 40.4% (63,800 BTC)
▪️ July: 30.9% (46,800 BTC)
▪️ August: 9.8% (14,100 BTC)
▪️ September: 3.7% (7,900 BTC)
▪️ October: 4.4% (9,100 BTC)
📌 My take: Potential selling pressure is indeed easing, but that doesn’t mean the market is about to reverse. For BTC to truly break out, reduced selling alone isn’t enough—the key is whether fresh buying demand can enter the market.
Easing selling pressure is a positive sign, but fresh capital has yet to return in any meaningful way, so patience is still warranted in the short term.
