I think I finally understand one thing today: 0.40 is a level $AVA just can’t get past.
I drew this line early this morning and said a clean break could be worth chasing. Then this coin gave us a live lesson today: over 24 hours, it surged from 0.2955 to 0.4227, with a swing of over 40%. It poked above 0.40 several times, only to get slammed back toward 0.38 by big red candles each time. It’s at 0.38 now, still up 21% on paper, but I doubt many people who chased the breakout are smiling.
Coins like this are brutal: there’s volatility every day, and you get burned whether you chase the pump or sell the dip. I’m treating 0.40 as resistance for now. Chasing before it can hold above that level is just giving your money away.
Did anyone get stung by those wicks today?
