The mark price is 12.3219 USDT, and the current price is 12.315, up 2.68% over 24 hours. I usually keep an eye on the slower-moving things over the cycle, and I wouldn’t use an 8-hour funding rate to change my long-term view. But with the rate this negative and the price still rising, short-term positioning is clearly moving faster than the slower variables. With 24-hour trading volume at $6.79 million, I’d rather see this kind of crowding as a positioning issue, not a sudden change in fundamentals.
