Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Sunday that Russia had launched 76 attacks on Ukraine’s energy, oil and gas infrastructure over the past week, despite US President Donald Trump’s announcement of a halt to strikes on energy facilities.
Zelensky accused Moscow of deliberately targeting Ukraine’s energy infrastructure during the seven days following Trump’s announcement of what he described as a ceasefire in the energy sector.
Zelensky wrote on X: “Since the US president announced a ceasefire in the energy sector a week ago, Russia has launched 76 deliberate attacks on Ukraine’s energy, oil and gas sectors.”
