# 📉 Why am I leaning bearish on BTC today?
A lot of people in the group are shouting, “The bottom is in! Buy the dip!”—but talk doesn’t equal a position, and sentiment doesn’t equal direction.
Here’s the market structure I’m seeing:
**BTC and ETH are both currently showing bearish signals according to the system.** When the two major coins are pointing in the same direction, that’s a signal in itself—the market is telling you this isn’t the time to buy the dip blindly.
The specific levels:
- **BTC**: $83,312 above is a stop-loss wall (resistance on a rebound); $80,045 below is a support pool (target)
- **ETH**: $2,457 above is a stop-loss wall; $2,361 below is a support pool
The strategy is simple: **Don’t jump the gun—wait for price to come to your levels.**
If price rebounds near the stop-loss wall and a bearish candle confirms the move, then consider shorting. If it pulls back to the support pool and a bullish candle confirms the move, then consider going long. Have a plan for both directions; don’t bet on just one.
Right now, I have a short order waiting to trigger on ETH **around $2,392**, with the stop-loss above $84,978. If it doesn’t trigger, I do nothing. If the market doesn’t offer an opportunity, I wait on the sidelines.
The mistake beginners make most often: **buying as soon as they see a drop, and chasing as soon as they see a rally.** Real trading means waiting for structure, not waiting for a feeling.
