Market breadth is 0/13. After looking at the data, I got a chill down my spine. Usually, when the board is entirely green like this, it’s either the eve of a systemic risk event or a slow decline after liquidity dries up. But the Fear and Greed Index is still stuck at a neutral 53, and that divergence feels very uncomfortable.

$BTC is currently at 81,695, down a slight 0.03% over 24 hours, with a trading volume of 601.1M. It looks stable at first glance. But the long/short position ratio for $BTC is 1.68, while $ETH is as high as 2.96, and the funding rate is only +0.0060%. The longs are running naked and barely paying any interest. This means many of the longs who chased the rally haven’t been flushed out yet. If support breaks, the cascade could come faster than expected.

Now look at the biggest losers: $WLD plunged 6.74%, and ZEC fell 3.41%. Major coins are grinding out a bottom, while altcoins are bleeding heavily. This suggests that capital isn’t buying the dip; it’s continuing to retreat from risk assets.

$ETH is relatively weak, down 1.01%. Although its volume is still 324.9M, buying support is clearly lacking compared with the liquidity of $BTC . At times like this, any bit of bad news could be the last straw.

My personal view is that this combination of “loose money and a broad market” with “crowded long positions” rarely lasts. If $BTC can’t quickly reclaim the 82,000 level with rising volume, short-term downward pressure will continue to build. Rather than betting on a rebound at these elevated levels, it’s better to wait for the funding rate to turn negative or open interest to drop sharply before considering an entry. For now, I’m leaning bearish and staying on the sidelines until there are clear signs that the bearish momentum has run its course.
