At $BTC 81,721, I'm choosing to stay on the sidelines, though I know the bulls look a little shaky.
Looking at the 1.69 long/short position ratio and the +0.0058% funding rate, the bulls are indeed holding on. But only 1 of the 13 major coins is rising, and that breadth data makes me uneasy. $WLD is down 6.82%, and $SUI has also fallen nearly 3%. This divergence suggests that capital is seeking safety rather than pushing ahead.
If $BTC can hold around 81,500, I'll consider opening a small long position, with an initial target of 82,500. But if it breaks below 81,000, this view is invalidated, and I'll follow the trend and go short. At this level, I need to keep my position size to an absolute minimum and set a tighter stop-loss than usual.
I'll wait for $BTC to pick a direction before making a move.
