$XAU $CL expects to attract $76 billion in oil investments

Venezuela expects to attract nearly $76 billion in oil investments over the next five years under new agreements, acting President Delcy Rodríguez announced on Saturday.

In a nationally televised address, Rodríguez said the investment commitments include a bilateral agreement with the United States covering 17 oil fields, as well as plans to deploy 250 drilling rigs.

The agreement is part of a broader package comprising 61 deals aimed at reviving Venezuela’s energy sector and expanding crude oil production.
