① BNB was initially launched in 2017 as an ERC-20 token on Ethereum. In 2019, it migrated to the mainnet of Binance Chain, which had launched at the time, and became a native coin.
② A native coin is the coin built into a blockchain, such as BTC on the Bitcoin network, ETH on Ethereum, and BNB on BNB Smart Chain.
③ Keep a small amount of the native coin in your address to pay gas fees; otherwise, your tokens may get stuck and you won’t be able to transfer them.
