【Are XRP holders all losers? I might disagree this time】

That CoinDesk article says XRP hasn’t made its holders rich like BTC and ETH have, and XRP is still languishing below its 2017 high. There are plenty of people in crypto circles who laugh at XRP, and “When will XRP break even?” has practically become a meme.

But guys, have you ever considered this—when consensus is most pessimistic, that’s often exactly where the opportunities are.

XRP is now nearly 70% below its all-time high, trading at just 1.3. The sentiment index is Neutral, trading volume is pitifully low, and the market is sitting on the sidelines. What does that tell us? That the bears have nearly exhausted their momentum, and there’s limited room for further selling.

I look at this from a business perspective. RippleNet’s cross-border payment system is actually up and running—it’s not just a PowerPoint presentation. Regulatory uncertainty used to be the biggest weight holding XRP down, but the winds are changing. Once the regulatory framework becomes clear, XRP’s settlement efficiency can truly shine. I don’t need to tell you how big the cross-border payments market is; we’re talking trillions of dollars in volume every year.

Who would be affected? Financial institutions using RippleNet for cross-border settlements, small and medium-sized businesses engaged in international trade, and individuals who need fast, low-cost transfers. Greater efficiency and lower costs—that’s real business value.

BTC’s dominance is close to 60%, with capital piled into Bitcoin and other major coins. Where will the next rotation opportunity be? I can’t say for sure, but I tend to think that when market sentiment starts turning from Neutral, undervalued assets backed by real businesses will have greater upside potential.

XRP looking so “hopeless” reminds me of certain coins from 2017. Sometimes, market consensus is precisely a contrarian indicator.
